Training objective

Enable anyone to acquire the skills necessary to respond effectively in the event of an accident or medical emergency, whether at work, at home or in a public place, while waiting for professional emergency services to arrive.

All levels

Training suitable for beginners as well as those wishing to refresh their skills.

16 hours of training, generally spread over 2 days

Educational content

The training alternates between theory (1/3) and practice (2/3), with realistic scenarios. The main topics covered are:

Legal framework and responsibilities of first aiders
Risk and accident prevention
Emergency response chain and emergency call
Assessment of the situation and protection
Communication and stress management
Assistance for children and infants
Life-saving techniques:
 - Recovery position
 - Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
 - Use of a defibrillator (AED)
Specific care:
 - Bleeding, burns, fractures
 - Choking (adults and infants)
 - Fainting, syncope, cardiac arrest
 - Helmet removal, spinal trauma

Assessment & Certification

First aid certificate issued upon active participation and continuous validation
Valid for 5 years
