What is LAR Academy?

LAR Academy is a new entity created in May 2025, following the expansion of LAR's facilities with 400 m² dedicated entirely to training. It embodies LAR's commitment to developing skills, both internally and externally.

Is training a new activity for LAR?

For more than 30 years, LAR has trained its own staff. In recent years, the organisation has also expanded its training services to external companies.

What are the core principles of LAR Academy?

What training facilities are available?

LAR Academy provides:

  • 8 training rooms;
  • 3 simulation rooms, including the first immersive and interactive training room in Luxembourg;
  • an indoor hoist-operation simulator.

In total, 2,000 m² are entirely dedicated to training.

What accreditations does LAR Academy have?

LAR Academy is recognised by several official bodies:

  • EASA – Aeronautical First Aid Training Centre;
  • ATO – Approved Training Organisation;
  • ISO 9001:2015;
  • Approved centre for continuing professional training (Ministry of National Education and Youth);
  • Approved centre for first aid courses (INFS-2021-OFO15 – CGDIS) (Ministry of the Interior);
  • ERC – European Resuscitation Council – Course organiser;
  • NAEMT – Accredited training centre.
