Gaart an Heem Schweecherdall donates €3,000 for a good cause
The association “Gaart an Heem Schweecherdall”, founded in 1935 and particularly active during the 1990s when it had more than 140 members, has recently experienced a decline in membership.
As a result, the board decided to dissolve the association and donate the remaining funds to charitable causes.
In total, the association had €3,000 available, which it donated in equal parts to the association “Rahna”, the “Association Luxembourg Alzheimer” and the “Fondation Luxembourg Air Rescue”.
Representatives of the different organizations as well as representatives of “Gaart an Heem Schweecherdall” met together at Luxembourg Air Rescue.
During the visit, the generous donors learned more about the life-saving work of Luxembourg Air Rescue and that every donation goes directly towards LAR’s medical equipment and therefore helps secure air rescue services in Luxembourg.
