At the invitation of Luxembourg Air Rescue, François Bausch, Minister for Sustainable Development and Infrastructure, visited LAR at Findel to learn more about the organisation’s daily activities. During a tour of the facilities at Luxembourg Airport, the minister had the opportunity to visit the infrastructure, aviation equipment and medical installations, gaining insight into the day-to-day work of LAR.

The visit also allowed the minister to review the different aspects of Luxembourg Air Rescue’s missions. During several discussions with the operations staff and the emergency call centre team, François Bausch was able to observe and appreciate the challenges that the LAR staff face 365 days a year.

The minister also listened attentively to LAR’s concerns regarding the project to build a new hangar and administrative building at Findel. He confirmed to the organisation’s management the government’s willingness to support Luxembourg Air Rescue in its continued development.
