"Born out of nothing Luxembourg Air Rescue nowadays operates 6 MD902 helicopters and 5 air ambulances and has become one the leading players worldwide with regards to quality in the air rescue & air ambulance business.

Today, LAR is supported by 185,000 members, which represents almost 60% of Luxembourg's population. LAR is therefore the biggest organization memberwise in the Grand-Duchy. Since the foundation in 1988, our focus was to provide the best possible quality standards as in aviation quality means safety. Our vision never was to be a huge operator but to stay small and mighty. And this is weil proven by our state-of-the-art outfitted rescue helicopters and certainly the most modern and best equipped air ambulances LearJet 45XR in the world, which we recently integrated in our fleet.
